Hello, Rebels! To some of you who probably religiously follow the blog, you would know that we love...LOVE..Iceland. (Backtrack here: My Icelandic Rebel Love). We blogged about this country in 2015 and in that post, we were already planning another trip for 2016 (more on this 2016 trip soon). That's how much we loved this place. So when we first saw the teaser photos of Metrophoto's Iceland shoot with their couple Margaux and Francis, we couldn't have been more thrilled to see the final set.
Dubbed as the "Bucket List Wedding", Iceland was the finale to a photo shoot series, as the couple journeyed around Europe with Metrophoto and makeup artist Mickey See. The goal was to create the most spectacular wedding photos, worthy of a travel bucket list.
Originally the idea was to go to Iceland to catch the Northern Lights--which did not go as planned. But Iceland has MORE to offer than just the Northern Lights and the team soon discovered for themselves the very many out-of-this-world sights that Iceland had to offer. In the short span of time that they got to see Iceland, they were able to shoot in iconic spots which included the Kirkjufell (Iceland's most popular mountain, and one of the most photographed mountains in the world), Kirkufellfoss (one of Iceland's beautiful waterfalls beside the Kirkjufell), and they also went to Jokusarlon, which is an iceberg lake found in Vatnajokull--the biggest glacier in Europe.

Don't you just loooove Iceland?
Having adventured twice in Iceland already, believe us when we say that these photos are not easy to execute. From the weather, to the terrain, Margaux, Francis, and Oly's team made it look easy but it simply is not. So we commend them for their rebelliousness because it takes a whole level of passion and spirit to be able to pull this one off. Congratulations Margaux and Francis and may your amazing wedding photos kick-off one amazing marriage.
