Planning Your Perfect Hen Do

Coming up the perfect hen party is the ultimate goal when it comes to celebrating your wedding. Whether you choose to plan this ourself or you hand over all the details to your bridesmaids, you still want to make sure everything is perfect and everyone remembers your hen party for all the right reasons.

But what is the best way to plan a hen party to make sure everything runs smoothly and the bride gets to celebrate her night, or even weekend in style without any hiccups? The devil is in the details as they say and planning a spectacular hen party needs heavy focus on all the details!

Invites.
The step in planning a hen party is to know exactly what numbers you are working with. Create a list of of the whole party and then get everyone together either physically or via a group chat and pin down exact numbers. Once you know the size of the group you can then start making plans on how and where you will be celebrating.

Budget.
Discuss with the rest of the party their budget limits. Everyone has different financial circumstances so knowing upfront what everyone's limit is will make choosing your hen party destinations and/or activities a lot easier. Decide if the bride will be contributing or if you will be splitting the cost between everyone in the group. Whilst lower budgets can be limiting in terms of the length of the hen party, bigger groups can pull larger discounts making different ideas much more affordable.

Location and Activities.
No longer is a hen do relegated to one night out, the choices are endless. So get your girls together and see if you can come up with the perfect send-off for your bride! From taking in a west end show - make sure to book your London theatre tickets in advance so you're not disappointed on the day, to taking a mini holiday in the sun or even a weekend break at a spa retreat. Research accommodation, travel expenses and make sure you factor in extra costs, such as spending money and any extras before you commit to booking anything. This way everyone is on board and aware of how much money they will need whether this figure covers all costs completely or if they will need any additional funds for spending money too.

Accessories.
It isn't a hen party without some fabulous bride to be and hen party accessories. So make sure to choose a theme and then buy all your decorations and accessories for the whole party to give it that little something extra. From sashes to party games, badges, bunting, balloons and more, make it a celebration to remember and give the bride the send-off to end all send-offs! However you choose to celebrate, whether you stick to a budget and keep things low key, or you go all out with no expense spared, don’t forget to keep the focus on the bride and make sure she enjoys every single second.
