Unmasked

Dabid and AJ unmasks in their pandemic prenup shoot and we are digging it.

In a world where canceled weddings are normalized, romance is almost dead, intimacy is on-hold, they show us where you can find love in the "un-cheesiest" of ways, appreciating the little things. It's in the way they help each other walk on muddy grounds. It's in the way Dabid helps AJ tie her shoe laces. It's in the way that they can test their relationship, camping with nothing but nature.

Photographer team, NEVERTHELESS shares:

They say that “Difficult roads often lead to a beautiful destination”.

From a few hours of travel and off-road motorcycle ride away from the city, An astonishing location can be found in the valleys of Pioduran town in Albay province, Philippines.

Being outgoing, spontaneous and adventurous in a way, were the types of couples we have here. The usual typical prenup concept where in outfits like gown, coat and tie are being worn were not usually their thing. The idea was to showcase their love for travel together, to wander in new places away from the busy city life, and to experience simple life with nature. The couple find these kinds of activities very stress relieving and renewed not just a couple but as an individual. Despite the gloomy weather, the threat of the rain looms over the clouds just in time for Dabid and Aj Engagement shoot... The colorful moody tones, lights, frames, grains and even out of focus images transcend on their limitless idea of art. The couple is a good example that no matter what the weather is, even if the plan “A” doesn’t work, there’s always a perfect timing and perfect place for a perfect feeling of love. "IKA SANA" title from the video means "Only you" in Bicol dialect.

Love in the Time of a Crisis - A "Brainstorming Session"

Photo credits are at the bottom of the post

So your wedding has been postponed because of the current crisis. At first you thought, you can just move the date to the 4th quarter of the year. But now, that doesn't even seem feasible anymore. Maybe you and your guests have lost your jobs, and you can no longer financially support the upcoming wedding. Or maybe you are just afraid to push through because of all the fear and uncertainty you see in the news.

Better Than Your Average Wedding

We know that everyone deserves to have the wedding of their dreams. When you think about it, it’s one of the only times in life where you feel as though you’re going to be the only one being looked at. Well, you and your partner, but as the bride, we know that it’s mainly going to be all eyes on us. Depending on how much you like the attention, you’ll probably worry at the thought. If you were the one who would never go to the front of the class to present because you didn’t like everyone watching you, then the thought of a wedding might be enough to scare you off having one altogether. But you have to remember everyone who is there wants to be there to celebrate you. Unlike presenting a presentation in high school, everyone is looking at you because they’re generally interested in your day and how it’s all going to play out. Now, you’re most likely going to want it to play out better than average, and so are your guests. That’s why we’ve come up with this fabulous post full of a few ideas that we know will create a better than the average wedding. Keep on reading to find out more.

How To Decide On A Theme For A Non-Traditional Wedding

During the early stages of planning your wedding, you will need to decide on a theme. If you don’t want a boring wedding and you want to do something different, the theme is so important because it will dictate so many of the other details about your big day. A lot of people think that they just decide on a theme and everything else comes after, but that’s not the way to do it. It’s important that you choose a theme that you like, but you also have to make sure that all of the other details fit with the theme, especially if it’s a bit out of the ordinary. So you have to think about that while you are making your decision. These are the things that you need to consider when deciding on a theme for a non-traditional wedding.

Ticking Off That Wedding Planning Checklist: How To Get Ahead

Wedding planning can be such an enjoyable process. However, some parts can be very long-winded. Things like venue choices and food options, for example. However, some parts of wedding planning can be quite quick and simple. So it’s always advisable to get some of those things ticked off your list at your earliest convenience. This will leave you feeling organised and accomplished. So here are a few things that you can organise quickly.

Using Your Computer To Enhance Your Wedding Planning

Computers have quickly become a major part of life for many people over the last couple of decades. With people across the world having to use these devices each day, they are found in the vast majority of households, offices, and other workplaces. Of course, though, you’re not here to think about work; you want to plan your wedding. Can’t Buy Love? How to Make Your Wedding Financially Viable

For many people, the idea of getting married keeps getting put off because of the daunting financial challenge that comes with planning
something like this. However, there are many ways in which you can make your wedding more affordable and ultimately, more financially viable.
You should never let money or a lack of it get in the way of you getting married to the person you love. Read on to find out how you can
 get married more cheaply.

Save for a While and Delay

If you don’t have much money to spend on your wedding right now, you should think about saving for a while. You can delay your wedding
and wait a little because it’ll allow you to save up and make your wedding the way you want it to be. If the wedding is going to be better in the end
it’s probably worth waiting for.

See How Much Help You Can Get From Your Family

Family members will often be willing to chip in and offer some money for your wedding. You should find out whether this is a possibility
or not before you make any further decisions regarding how your wedding is going to pan out. Even a little financial help from them can
go a long way, so don’t underestimate this factor.

Could You Take Your Wedding Abroad?

Thinking of getting married abroad? Having a wedding in another country can have its advantages – you could combine it with your honeymoon.
It’s also certain to be a memorable occasion for all. That said, getting married abroad does take a lot of planning. Here are some factors to
consider when getting married abroad.

Consider your guests

Getting married abroad means you may not be able to invite all your friends and family. Paying for them all to come out will be very expensive.
You could get them to pay for their own travel, but it’s unlikely they’ll all be willing to fork money out of their own pocket to come along, especially
if you’re travelling to another continent. Think carefully about who you bring and choose a suitable venue. You could get married in a hotel, giving
your guests somewhere convenient to stay. This could be a hotel near an airport such as Residence Inn Montreal Airport. Help your guests when
it comes to travel and accommodation – making it an easy process for them will encourage them to come.

Compare the currency

You’ll be dealing with another currency when booking the venue, catering and other aspects of the wedding. Make sure to compare currency
transfer rates so that you’re getting a good deal. You may want to transfer all your money into cash rather than using card and having to deal with
multiple transfer fees.

Take into account the weather

If you’re travelling to a country with a climate that’s different to what you’re used to, it could be worth taking this into account, especially if you’re
planning an outdoor wedding. It could determine the type of dress you wear, how you do your hair and what you wear on your feet. For
example, for a tropical beach wedding, you probably want a light dress that doesn’t trail on the floor and sandals, plus hairstyle that won’t blow in
the wind. This might be completely different for a wedding in Lapland.

Decide how to transport your dress

If you’re taking your dress with you, you may have to pay extra luggage fees. That said, many airlines such as American Airlines may allow
you to take it as hand luggage to prevent it getting crumpled. It’s worth contacting your airline beforehand to find out how they can safely handle
your dress and whether you’ll need to pay extra for it.

Get the paperwork sorted in advance

Wedding paperwork can take months to sort out in some countries. It’s worth getting this all sorted long in advance – if it’s not all completed
you wedding may not be legal and may be postponed. Make sure that you bring all the necessary documentation with you such as your
passport, birth certificate, visa and any other paperwork. It could be beneficial to talk to a wedding professional from that country so that you
know exactly what you need.

Jamie x Derrick: Marriage So Far

They say that nothing can test a relationship quite like when you are traveling together. It doesn't even necessarily apply to just married couples. It applies to family, friends, and even colleagues. That's why I am personally a firm believer that married couples should always make it a point to travel together. Even better if you could actually make time to travel before having kids or when you already have kids, try to travel at least once, without the kids--so that you can re-connect on a deeper level. This could even be a great time to just be young and carefree, forget the daily grind even for just a week or two--and maybe even discuss and resolve marital issues that you are unable to express at home.

Wedding Transport Woes to Avoid

When it comes to arranging the transport for your rebellious wedding, a lot of couples often put it at the bottom of their list of priorities. It’s easy to see why. After all, there is so much else to plan with the service, theme, reception and food that something always has to take a back seat.

It’s only on the actual wedding day that you will realize exactly how vital transporting your guests is, and if you want to avoid any significant dramas, you’ll need to execute your plans to perfection. Here are some of the biggest wedding transport woes you might experience - and how to avoid them.

Dress Code: Black-Tie

Black-tie is one of the most common dress codes during weddings. But still, there are a lot of guests who are not sure on what Black-tie really means...and we get the confusion.  Because when you think about it, Black-tie means that it's tuxedo time for men, and for women, that means you can wear glamorous long gowns. In fact, red carpets like the Oscars are the unofficial peg for a Black-tie event. But then again, most couples don't want to be upstaged during their wedding-- I mean, we're pretty sure a groom would be secretly pissed if his buddies were in some snazzy tuxedos that might potentially look better than his -- so it's pretty confusing because the dress code says one thing, but you also have to take into consideration and read between the lines.

So here's a suggestion from stylist KC Leyco-Mempin (Miss Kayce) on how to navigate this dress code and look fearlessly cool

Keeping Your Wedding Simple

Why do we insist on making life so hard, when it can be so easy? More to the point, why do we stress about making our weddings as extravagant as can be, when they can be just as nice when they are completely simple? You see, not every wedding needs to have the grandeur of a royal wedding or the fanfare of a celebrity wedding. No, weddings can be simple and special; for advice on how to keep yours simple, make sure to read on.

Bridal Boudoir sessions are always tricky. It can easily go south and look trashy and sleazy. That's why we rarely feature boudoir sessions. In fact, Rebellious Bride Lea's photo shoot is only the fourth boudoir we've ever had in the blog in 6 years.
