Subtile et Rebelle

The French are subtle. They exude a sense of sophistication that comes from the rebellious balance of luxury and minimalism that can only come from their own way of life. French themes (and shoots) are aplenty. But often it misses the point of how the French are so not into the obvious. And that's what we wanted to achieve in this contemporary wedding editorial feature shot in various locations in France.

Here you will see extreme moods that come from the fashionable Rue Saint Honore--with our rebel bridal look that showcases a short gown paired with Valentino rock studs. The story will then  transition to the most under-the-radar locations of Provence with our bride changing her look in an ever so slightly way with some Stan Smith sneakers and a caplet over her gown. To complete the story, we also envisioned the bridesmaids in an equally subtle and subdued mood with a classic Chanel ballerina inspired vibe.

We hope that this feature inspires you to look beyond the usual "wedding frou frou." Those type of weddings are not necessarily for everyone and you shouldn't have to conform to it if that's not who you really are.
