Fantasy

Bridal Boudoir sessions are always tricky. It can easily go south and look trashy and sleazy. That's why we rarely feature boudoir sessions. In fact, Rebellious Bride Lea's photo shoot is only the fourth boudoir we've ever had in the blog in 6 years.

Mardi Gras Boudoir

Photographer Jessica Villegas Shares:

"Ana’s theme for her bridal boudoir session is the perfect choice. Her husband lives in near New Orleans where the famous Mardi Gras season happens. In fact the Mardi Gras beads we used in the shoot were given by her husband-to-be. Ana is such a beautiful bride to shoot. Sexy, sensual and all that jazz…. "

Rebellious Bride Anj's Boudoir Session

To be quite frank, the majority of boudoir sessions that I've seen abroad are tacky--bordering on amateur soft porn. That being said, here's how it SHOULD be done. With taste, with sophistication, with elegance.

Photography by Metrophoto / Makeup & Styling by Madge Lejano

Rebellious Bride Anj's Metrophoto boudoir session has got to be the BEST boudoir set I've seen yet--not just locally but in the whole of the world wide web. You won't even see the usual lingerie that plague boudoir sessions. Instead, you'll see gorgeous creations from Vidal Clayton of the Cecilio Abad Design Team.

Thanks for showing us how boudoir should be done, Oly & Madge. For the first time, I could say that I've viewed a boudoir set that didn't make me squirm because of too much tackiness.

All hail to Rebellious Bride Anj! This would not have been possible if not for the perfect bride & muse who has so much grace, confidence, and sense of quality.
