10 Wedding-Worthy Color Palettes from Pixar Movies

With so many colors and color combinations to choose from, it's a bit weird that most weddings these days get stuck with certain color palettes like mint and coral (how much more mint and coral weddings can we take?). Now don't get us wrong--if those are your favorite colors by all means, go right ahead. But if you are only joining the wedding bandwagon, yikes!

Sometimes wedding "trends" can do that to you---and that's why we always encourage readers NOT to look at what's "in" and instead, create your own ideas. Take for example these color palettes that were recently shared by Disney. Most if not all of these color combos are not your usual wedding motifs. But they work...they actually visually work!

May this inspire you to open your eyes to the other colors of the rainbow.

Kate Spade Mood Board #4






Kate Spade's color of the month is all about multi-coloring--and we couldn't agree more. There are so many delicious colors that why not put it all in your wedding? Whoever said a wedding needed to have a color motif anyway?!? 


Better yet, stomp the color motif and just make your wedding theme a multi-color motif theme! I'm sure some would gag at the thought of a non-cohesive wedding palette. But one look at how Kate Spade executed this and you're in for a wonderful surprise. It's all about taste levels people. Whatever color or theme you want to implement, it's not the theme/color per se that makes a wedding gaudy or tacky--it's how you will edit and put things together that can make or break everything. So go multi-color! Live a little! :)

Kate Spade Mood Board #3

Just came from a very exhausting day, yesterday. AND it's 6:30AM and I'm supposedly having to rush to work for a meeting. However, when I received this in my inbox, I knew I just HAD to share the inspiration---now na, now na! :)


Every month, Kate Spade launches their color, and I love the way they do it---with the whole shebang that even comes with a video, a mood board, and of course, their collection. They make for wonderful wedding ideas it makes me feel so giddy so early in the morning! And how very perfectly rebellious as well that they  called their color: 80% Charming, 20% Rebellious! Love! So girls, let's go cha-cha-chocolatey! :)
