Tim's "Sneaky Sweet" Proposal
One of the most elaborately concocted proposal ideas we've seen so far, Tim actually got a crew to pretend that they are from the TV Network ABS-CBN. Upon arriving the venue, the crew was to act in front of Tim's girlfriend Katrina that they were upset that the couple they were supposed to shoot at the venue didn't show-up. But the best part is that the proposal was a surprise to Katrina's parents as well--all of these emotions were captured in this proposal video made by Motion Diaries and everything could very well have been an episode of a would-be reality show! We are a sucker for romantic and creative proposals like this!

Heath's Personalized Proposal
The good news is, I don't have to keep it a secret anymore because I'm getting married. Yay!
I just wanted to share Heath's proposal with you because I'm very proud of how he made it so personal and unforgettable. I was thinking this could be good inspiration for the boys - something out of the box, personalised, simple, sincere and super inexpensive.

Putting his acting, singing, and "hot-headedness" to good use (hehe), Marc proposed to Rebellious Bride Mica while pretending to having a fight with some guys who were supposedly laughing at him. The guys had a guitar and Marc grabbed it from them and started singing. The funny thing is, Mica was upset that Marc was picking a fight and thought he'd gone mental so she walked out! Hahah! Watch the entire video on how this plot "thickens" :)

April 28, 2011 - the staff of Magic 89.9 was briefed that a proposal was going to take place live, on-air, during DJ's CJ and Suzi's The Big Meal show. The radio station was just as excited, nervous, and anxious as the soon-to-be engaged lover boy because it was actually the first-ever proposal the station will ever have in history.

It's the day after Christmas and I feel giddy! The most amazing thing about it, is that I feel giddy about a Proposal Video all the way from Kuala Lumpur, from a videographer and a couple that we don't even know. And that's the beauty of weddings, and the beauty of talented videographers. Technique, angles, fancy cameras can only go so far--it's the storytelling and the simplicity of it that requires creativity and talent. I totally love this video and how cool is it to actually give as equal importance to the Proposal Video? In fact, in my opinion, this should be given more time & effort than prenup videos--only because to capture this raw moment is so much more genuine than rehearsed prenups. A light bulb idea for the guys perhaps? Wink, wink!

A Movie House Proposal
2011 is the year for the most awesome and sweetest proposals. And this one is definitely one for the books.
I was lucky enough to have gotten an invitation to this "movie". Unfortunately, Mica and I were off to our first-ever Rebellious Brides shoot so I sadly couldn't make it. But watching this video, I'm sorta, kinda glad I didn't go---why? Because the video alone made me TEARY-EYED! What more if I was there?!?! But seriously, I wish I had witnessed it. The energy in the movie house reflected in the video.
What's even better than the proposal video that you are about to watch, is that the groom even wrote a write-up for this blog feature--and nothing beats a guy who cares enough to do these things ;)

Where: The Podium, Cinema 2 (Puss in Boots)
It took me about 3 months to plan everything. Kitin (Kristine Flores) knew that my family will be out of town on that day so she had nothing planned yet on the weekend. About 3 days before the event, Kat, one of her kabarkadas from the States texted her saying that she has to talk to her and Ria (her best friend in the Phils) about a drastic decision that she was about to make. I told Ria to tell Kitin that her only available day was on Nov 5 because of her very hectic week. Since Ria works for Sun Cellular, they will be having a block screening for a client on that day and they can just stay for the movie and call Kat after.
As they entered the cinema, all the lights were out and the trailers were already starting. My video was projected after the trailers revealing that I was about to propose to her. When the lights were turned on, she realized that the whole cinema has been blocked to house all her family and friends and that I was not out of town after all. That was when I asked her to be my wife. :)
I made a video summary of what happened, including the surprise video I did. Just click the link below:

Marc's Rebellious Proposal
Is it just me or do the days go by super fast? Wasn't it just February of this year when Marc proposed? And now we're married!
Soon we'll be old and wrinkly. But before that, because it's a rainy (stormy) day, I will put on my senti(mental) mode and reminisce.
Much better than telling you about Marc's proposal, here's a video shown during our wedding day. Are you ready for a flashback? I am.
