The Blueprint Bouquet

Here's a perfect example of how you can take a very masculine theme like "construction" and make it look crazy beautiful. I can't wait to see the rest of this construction themed wedding! The bouquet below was made by no less than Teddy Manuel.

This non-floral bouquet is made from Blueprint paper and metal wires!

Chris + Jelai's Handmade IT Wedding

Photography by CamZar
Chris & Jelai were college sweethearts who took up IT together so they naturally gravitated towards this as a wedding theme. Lots of interesting details and goodies to see from the wedding but what makes it fresh is the fact that it's not totally techie. In the end it was a soft and playful balance that had so many personalized, thoughtful touches and kudos to Vatel's {etc} team for all the amazing handcrafted goodies!

Rebellious Bouquet Alternatives (UPDATED!)

***Due to the popularity of this blog post, we've updated it to include even more wonderful non-floral bouquet photos at the bottom part of this feature. Enjoy!***

My first encounter and perhaps "awakening" to the idea of having a non-floral bouquet was when I attended the wedding of one of our close friends last year. This couple was from Portland, Oregon and I loved the fact that they mixed wedding ideas from the US, with a very Filipiniana wedding in Intramuros. One fresh idea that they brought from the US, is the concept of a BROOCH BOUQUET. I was so enamored by the bride's bouquet--seeing it in the photo slideshow and onsite video, I couldn't help but wonder why her flowers seemed to sparkle like gems?!?
