Cuba in Manila

Metrophoto has changed the game for engagement photos. Not just in Manila but even for the rest of the world. I mean who freakin' hires on-cam talents just to stage a story? Who does that?!? Oly will do everything he can to evolve the craft--to remold wedding photography in a way that moves his couples to do crazy things--rebellious things, if you think about it. To be completely honest my husband and I never had a prenup during our time--because we thought it was soooo cheesy and we didn't think it was necessary. Now if these crazy ideas of Oly were already available 5 years ago, maybe we would have considered--especially my husband. Because apart from Metrophoto's badass prenup "evolution" what makes it even more unique is the fact that it makes the grooms cool and manly. And that's something that always seems so awkward with some of the usual prenup shoots--it makes the guys feel silly and it makes them feel secondary. Oly never does that. He meticulously and thoughtfully celebrates both the bride AND the groom.

Metrophoto was able to magnify Jazz and Archie's love with so much color, passion, and life. The result is a story of a couple, as vibrant as a mash-up of Cuba and Manila.

"We are proud that we’ve significantly stretched the limitations of how pre-wedding photoshoots are done and we hope that this also paves the way to more people thinking big and outside of the box."

Love Rail Transit

Shoulder up to shoulder we shared that 9 o' clock ride.
Oh my heart was screamin as you left your seat

Followin your movements I was at your feet and...

Okay, those lyrics are from the song Terminal and it's a bus station. BUT STILL, the public transport system makes such great settings for all kinds of love stories - from the tragic to romantic comedies!

And if only the LRT or Light Rail Transit (the first rail system serving the Metro Manila area in the Philippines) could talk, we bet the stories would be so juicy and interesting.

"Christian and Jaira chose this theme because the LRT has been a huge part of the couple's dating days. It was where the they usually met up during the courtship stage. Up to now, they still commute there, it is still part of their story. So what better location to do their pre-wedding than here. With the help of the stylist, we conceptualised a not-so-typical pre-wedding shoot inside and outside the train units."--Team Benitez

A Bride Idea from 4-Year Old 'Mayhem'

This is too cute for words! She's probably the youngest creative mind that we have ever featured for our Bride Ideas. Meet 4-year old, 'Mayhem' (that's what her mom calls her on social media, perhaps a pen name to protect her privacy..good idea!). She makes her own paper outfits. And she is absolutely good at it. Don't you think this could make a great peg for a prenup session? Or even as an interesting reception styling idea for a photo booth! Here are some of my faves.

Huffington recently featured her and how her mom allows her to hone her creativity. Read it here:

Diana & Arch's Love Myths Prenup

"Love is Blind"
Photography by Nice Print

Diana shares: 2 years ago, when people asked me about Arch, I answered, "He’s my ABCD --- Ang Bagong Constant Date." I was totally clueless that we’d leap from Exclusively Dating to Engaged! So when he popped the question, I was crying uncontrollably, and then asked him back, “Tayo na?!”

True enough, true love can be unconventional, and that’s what we wanted to depict in our Pre-nuptial Shoot: DEFY LOVE MYTHS.
