Fluid & Vivid
It's funny because looking at this beautiful wedding, one thing that struck us was the hashtag for the festivities: #hubertlovesmeg2015. And in most cases it really is as simple as that. Sometimes, in the simplicity comes the most fluid and the most vivid of ideas and it reflected so much on the wedding details.
"Hubert Loves Meg" - simple as that. Now add all of these amazing wedding artists and you now have an interpretation of that love in the most magical way. From the impeccably custom-made Veluz gown (oh my goodness the details are so precious!!!), to the whimsical feel of the flowers, to how the orange-colored gowns of the entourage flowed with the wind. But what tied it all was really Proud Rad's eye for the unique.
Manila weddings are aplenty--but even then, this was a Manila wedding that saw the celebrations from different colored lenses.
Jia's Bridal Style - Rockstud Chic
We love Jia's bridal style--she's classy and sophisticated yet with an obvious hint of a rebel spirit. Her pearl-colored romantic gown, her hair down in a side swept style, her statement earrings, embellished bouquet, and Valentino Rockstud pumps are all so dreamy! A couple of months ago, we were wondering why we haven't seen any brides wearing rebellious fabulous shoes like the Valentino Rockstud or the YSL Tribute (CLICK HERE FOR RELATED ARTICLE) and finally, we have a Rockstud Bride today! Woopee!
Rex & Joanne's Rad Day
I can stare at these entourage gowns forever! Thank you Rebel Bride Joanne, for bringing your refreshing, rad ideas to the world!
Aiza & Liza -- "We Choose Love"
"A lot has been said (and STILL being said) about the kind of life we choose to live. Yes,we are OUT and PROUD. We are not standing up for anything, we are just exercising our right to be treated equally. If you're not used to it, then DEAL with it. If you can't stand it, then by all means, PLEASE leave us alone. Our silence doesn't mean that we accept your prejudiced opinions, it's just that your ignorance has rendered us beyond words it's almost funny. LOVE---the beauty of it, the joy of finding it, even the PAIN that comes with it should be experienced and celebrated. We choose to be REAL. We choose to be HAPPY. We choose to be FREE. We choose LOVE."

Maleficent - Once Upon a Rebel
Hello there! The Maleficent shoot is going viral and with the "virality" comes the bashers ---which we don't mind. Bring it on! We weren't called "Rebellious Brides" if we couldn't take the heat.
So just a few trivia about this shoot:
1. IT'S NOT A REAL WEDDING...so chill...relax. If this were a real wedding, it would probably not have the horns, the wings, and the staff.
2. In our concept shoot, Maleficent actually ends up with her sidekick in the movie--Diaval the crow. She obviously doesn't end up with the king.
3. The three couples in the shoot are REAL husbands and wives. The kids here are their real children. The kids loved the shoot--it was one of the reasons why we did the shoot was for their own amusement.
4. All the couples here are very much in love, and have been married for awhile--so for those who are widely speculating that the groom is unhappy and that they would probably end up annulled/divorced--that is unlikely to happen and that's very mean of you to say.
5. We chose Maleficent because at the end of the day the story is about LOVE. And the theme was for "Rebellious Brides" NOT for the Classic, Traditional bride.
As quoted from the Maleficent movie, and as scribbled in our faux wedding invitation, "Let us tell an old story anew. Where we are not afraid and love will find a way." This shoot was meant to show love from a different angle. You don't have to agree with it, but it is love. The shoot was made with love.
Enjoy

"Children have always been told she's pure evil. And she is evil, but it's not all she is, and it's not fair that her story was left there. For kids, it will be like unwrapping a mystery, unwrapping a present, finding out what was really going on. It's a fun discovery"
