Wedding Agency: Look Book Ideas

One of our favorite parts of the walkthroughs that we create for our couples are the look books. We create style guides not just for the brides but also for the the grooms, the entourage, and depending on the client's requests, we go as far as guides for the parents and kids. Every couple/bride is different and we make sure to create a 'stylish balance' based on the bride's preferences/personality, their chosen theme, and of course our own rebellious suggestions. Most of the time we encourage the brides to ALLOW their entourage to wear what they want to wear but even if the bride opts to have custom entourage gowns we always try to spice things up a bit. 

 Here are snippets from our previous walkthroughs that might come in handy for you too! Since each walkthrough is exclusively created for our clients, we will only share the look books for brides and entourage girls. 
Wedding Theme: Brunch Wedding 
Bride's Personality: Very rebellious! She doesn't want to wear white, she doesn't mind buying off-the-rack, and she doesn't want anything traditional! 


Wedding Theme: Intergalactic/Glam Rock Wedding 
Bride's Personality: Uber rebellious and probably one of the most awesome couples we've ever worked with! She and her fiancee loves black, they are fascinated with death, and are into sci-fi and crime novels.

Lavonne & Clark's Wedding Style

When I scanned through Lavonne & Clark's wedding photos, I instantly knew I'd blog about their style as a couple. So when I read Oly's write-up about them (I usually look at the photos first before reading the write-ups so I won't be influenced by it), I was so amused to find that Oly also talked about Lavonne & Clark's style as well! Oly actually nailed it: 

  "I’m a fan of great color combinations and I love the deep and muted brown colors throughout this wedding. I appreciate the taste that Lavonne and Clark have as it was obvious in a lot of the details and choices they made for their wedding. It’s not bad too that they are evidently head-over-heels in-love with each other."

Rebellious Bride Pao's Wedding Style

It's been a while since we last featured a bride specifically for her rebellious sense of style during the wedding and so we're glad we stumbled upon Rebellious Bride Pao through BlackTie Project's page :)


We admire the bride for being bold enough to allow her entourage to be in white. Not just in white but she made her bridesmaids look like Grecian goddesses! How amazingly 'generous' of the bride to share the spotlight with her girls! And the result? Such beautiful ladies --you can see how everybody is glowing and feeling pretty.


The bride & the girls' looks were both opulent but subtle--the bride sure knew the art of fashion/style editing! And what about those golden details especially the head pieces? Oh they are so gorgeous!

Rebellious Bunch: The Events Studio


The truth is, it's hard to keep up with event stylist Gideon Hermosa. It seems that every time I check his Facebook wall (stalker much?), he has something new to offer. I guess that's what makes his work at Events Studio very, very interesting. You will never get bored. It's like being Alice in Wonderland but more with more sparkle.

Gideon: Since it's their big day, they must have it in their own way. Dapat swak sa personality nila (It should fit their personality spot-on). And the details laging cohesive dapat (the details should always be cohesive). Today,wala ng masyadong rules sa wedding (there are no steadfast rules now) Do anything you want. Spend kahit magkano gusto mo, ang important masaya ka (spend as much as you want as long as it makes you happy).

All in the Props

This blog is about going against the norm, right? Here's one of the thoughts that's been bugging me right now, and I don't mean to offend anyone when I say this. But sometimes, I really get overwhelmed by the overly decorated reception table ideas. To think the cost to hire an event stylist nowadays can go as high as six figures? It's such a waste of money knowing it will all go to things you won't use after the ceremony. I know this is the "in" thing right now, and sometimes this is the way traditional brides try to show that they have a rebellious side. But really, I don't see anything rebellious about it. Sometimes, it's all in the simple touches and details, that make a traditional wedding look unique and personal. Take for example Andrew & Coral's wedding, which looks very traditional and classic, but because of their props, and their unique details, even this traditional wedding looked pretty rebellious.
