Couple Chased by Zombies on the Way to Wedding Reception!
Here in Rebellious Brides, we get the craziest submissions. Quite flattering, really. After all, who's gonna stick together other than the crazy ones?
Throwback Thursdays: Kaye + Rap
What was the VERY FIRST Jason Magbanua wedding video you ever laid eyes on? How did it move you? How did it make you feel? I can never forget the first one I ever watched--experienced might even be a better word. I am a lover of all things creative especially when it comes to Filipino talent and I absorb it like a sponge. Kaye + Rap's wedding video (and their 2008 wedding itself for that matter), is one of the most influential visual love stories that probably inspired and evolved the way I view personalized weddings today.

For You Are Mine's Wedding Video Marathon
Nothing beats having a wedding video marathon. I remember doing this in 2008 during lunch breaks with my officemates when I was still single. In fact, that's how I first discovered about Jason Magbanua and his works! This carried on over to watching wedding videos with my husband, then I remember very very vividly, watching Jason's wedding videos in a small laptop, cramped in a house in Baguio with our family and friends December of 2009. Then in 2010 when we got engaged, I remember receiving a compilation CD of Jason's favorite works of 2009-2010 and we watched it with my mother-in-law and she started crying. Fast forward to 2012, and I still watch wedding videos!
But what if you can do your own wedding video marathon WITH JASON MAGBANUA & FOR YOU ARE MINE? Right in their own sleek new office, personally, intimately getting to know each and every shooter, editor, and of course their head, who makes magical wedding films happen?
Here's what you have to do:
For You Are Mine: It's just like Jason Magbanua--only Pinker & more Feminine
THAT'S just exactly how Jason Magbanua describes his second team. And well, pinker & more feminine will always be quite debatable hehe.
Understandably, the videographer god is just...well...human actually. He can't split himself half or even to several parts even if he wanted to (during cazy peak seasons he's got not two but several weddings!). So what to do right?
Some couples hesitate at the thought of opting for the second team. But why? In truth, the second team is essentially the same. They've mentored under the same person, and technically still works for and is headed by the person you wanted to hire in the first place. In Jason Magbanua's second team's case, we can personally vouch for them because we've worked with them for a WHOLE SLEW of other projects besides my own wedding. In fact, Jason's team has already bagged awards abroad as individual talents working under the umbrella, Team Jason Magbanua. If I were to describe his second team though --it would be like how huge designer brands have expanded to a whole new market. Kinda like how Marc Jacobs has Marc by Marc Jacobs, Monique Lhuillier has ML, or Armani has AX.
Need further convincing? I'm done trying to write through my case.
