We are so positively excited today because we finally get to share another Wedding Agency client's wedding. And this is a good one!

We'd like to formally congratulate one of our Wedding Agency couples Kathleen & Dingdong for finally tying the knot in Shangri-La, Boracay!
While we impatiently wait for the official photos, we'd like to share with you guys some of the elements of their wedding.
A Modern Fairytale...
When K&D first briefed us, it was quite clear that Kathleen was the romantic one and Dingdong was the more techie one. At the heart of their wedding was that it was going to be a modern fairytale--the best way to describe how Kathleen & Dingdong perfectly blended together as one heart & soul. But since it was a fairytale, it needed a title. A title that literally went through an evolution of sorts. In the end, while finalizing venue locations for their prenup, Kathleen herself had an epiphany of naming their fairytale as a "Romantic Discovery" and the rest you could say, was happily ever after.

The Fairytale/Romantic part of it represented the bride. While the Modern/Discovery part of it represented the groom. A lot of the design elements were inspired by the modern Rapunzel fairytale 'Tangled'. It was definitely not the usual Boracay wedding elements that we've been used to.

Admittedly, we do have a video coming out in celebration of our first year anniversary. But this video was never meant to put us-- me and Mica, on the spotlight. In fact, the content of this upcoming video is so over-the-top that you will never really guess what it will be about hehe.
So when we received this surprise video gift from MindBullets last Friday, wherein they creatively made a tribute video for us by using outtakes from a totally different video that we were making, we were so genuinely surprised by this act of kindness and generosity.
In the past few weeks that we've been gearing up for our 1st anniv, a lot of wonderful wedding peeps have shown us so much love and support and we are so overwhelmed! THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!

K+M: A Love Story Prenup Session

One of our clients from our Wedding Agency service, Dr. Mabeth Rivera and Atty. Karym Laidan had one of the most interesting love stories I've ever known of. Their love story is so interesting that it was the main focal point in both of their vows during the wedding.
PART ONE: The Universe at Work...

But who would have thought that Starbucks, of all places, could very well be the Serendipity cafe?
Years, and years had passed and Mabeth found herself alone in Starbucks. Karym on the other hand, was looking for a chair to borrow from another table. He saw Mabeth. He was bad with names. And why would he remember her name of all people? They were only introduced once, and ages ago at that. But for some weird twist of fate, the Universe whispered to him, her name. When Mabeth looked up, her response was: "And you are?" ---all of a sudden, the world around them became a blur, they started chatting away as if they were old friends.
PART TWO: Two Years of Bliss....
One Month after 9.10.11 (Part 1)

It's been a month since our wedding day! So I just had to celebrate with a blog! (So much exclams!)
We wanted our big day to be reflective of our personalities and our relationship. So naturally, we wanted it to be playful! We came up with a playful romantic theme inspired by the movie Little Rascals. As the movie says, “mischief loves company!” And we do have lots of mischief lovin’ family and friends.
Throughout the entire preparation, Marc and I did everything hand in hand (and sometimes even holding hands). He was very involved and had the most awesome ideas (the flash mob and wedding traditions in 60 sec. are some of his ideas). I was really proud of him for always having the enthusiasm to brainstorm with me.

Countdown to 9-10-11: The Styling
23 days to go! I must admit that I’m getting nervous. And I’m not the nervous type. I guess that’s what happens when you’re so wrapped up with wedding preps and a lot of mixed emotions. You know how you get nightmares of being late when you have an early meeting? I am getting something like that in the bridal sense. I think they even have a term for that. We simply want everything to pan out well. But Marc told me not to worry because everything will turn out okay.
As of last week, I already had two fittings and didn’t want to take off my gown and go to the mall wearing it. I was THAT excited. Haha! Anyway, I’d like to share how we came up with our looks. Marc was really into it when we were discussing and I’m really proud of him for being super hands-on with our wedding.
Since we have a themed wedding, we simply looked into the elements present from the movie and started from there.
